In Support of Architecture for Humanity

Doing this while taking a break from work.

I’ve always been one For design and how it affects our lives and the environment we live in and Architecture is what we Live in everyday. What makes us feel secure and gives us that feeling of freedom in vast spaces…

and coziness in smaller ones.

But what if some people dont have it at all? Its something we easily take for granted. But there are communities that live without such luxury due to economic circumstances and natural disasters. They do deserve some form luxury and design can help them. I take the earthquake in Haiti for example. It will take a long time to rebuild that community. While monetary donations pour in, such situations call for more.

Designers / Architects in particular can help in reconstructing such environments.

In our design profession, we know design matters. We also know it can change lives. While we go about everyday with our professional practice, we could try getting involved in some humanitarian work for a change.

That would really change lives.

Designers/Architect are agents of change. And if you think the same as I do, we could work together using our skills and knowledge to build Architecture for Humanity.

It wouldnt hurt to create smiles like this wouldnt it? :)
