4th December : JooAnn brought me out for an early birthday dinner. I had just got back from a 2 week stint in Langkawi for LIMA 09. I was pretty tired and got slapped with work upon returning back to office. So quite tired la. On the way to dinner i asked :

RedSpec: Where’s dinner ah?

ItsyBitsyTots: its a secret…:P

RedSpec: Hmm..ookies.

Nearing the hidden spot behind City Square, I could’ve sworn she’d survey that area before. She drove too smoothly into those turns. When we finally reached, parked, and got down. This is what i saw first.

No joke man. It really was a Secret. For those who dont know, Rahsia is ‘secret’ in the malay language.

This sweet hidden spot located along Jalan Damai, behind City Square. Rahsia is one of those bungalow houses converted into a eatery joint. Its got lotsa space and superb for private parties or small intimate weddings. We were the only ones there so at some point i did think that the gf booked the whole place. But no lah…siao meh.

Somehow this place gave me a very Austin Powers feel. Austin Powers in old skool colours.

You know this place means business when they’ve got a wall dedicated to their Tatler achievements.

Okay. One lovey dovey pic before dinner.

The food was pretty good and i was so stuffed by the time i took in my last bit of steak. BUTtt..there’s always room for dessert and it was awesome!

So after dinner, all stuffed and I was still tired from Langkawi, I thought okay its time to go home. When we got outside, the Gf said if i wanted to take a look upstairs. I thought, why not, see the whole area before leaving. So we went upstairs to the balcony area. I saw this group of people, sitting on this long table and i thought ‘oh, the kids came up here’.

‘Kids’ cos earlier i saw 3 people outside running around and went upstairs. They did look like kids ya know. Turns out, they werent kids. They were part of my Birthday surprise.! OMG..

First i recognized Hazel, and then my sister and cousin, SmashpOp, and the rest were all there. The Gf brought together people closest to me and they dont all know each other. Much kudos! *kisses*
